I really enjoyed listening to Adichie's Ted Talk video. The concept of a single story is new to me. As I listened to her describe her experience with single stories and show how they are applicable not only in books but in the daily lives of people. I found it sad to think about how single stories can have such a large negative impact on the world and on a person's way of thinking. It seems that this is a natural way to think without regard to other "stories" existing.
